Refine the surface of a hand-built clay project with this lightweight pottery rib. Its elongated, pointed profile offers a simple tool for smoothing and shaping small areas of clay.
The translucent white PP body is approximately 17 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. Its broad edge and tapered end can be positioned for different parts of a vessel, including curved teapot and bowl forms.
Use gentle pressure appropriate to the clay's moisture and firmness. Clean residue from the tool after working and store it where the edge will not be damaged. The listing includes one pottery rib only; the teapot and other studio props shown are not supplied.
