A closer look at this product.
This gel cooling mat gives dogs and cats a cool surface to rest on during warm weather, using a pressure-activated gel that draws heat away from the body. It's designed as a simple, no-power way to help pets stay comfortable. Available in a few colors and patterns, it's easy to pick one that fits a pet bed, crate liner, or car seat cover.
The gel core is designed to stay cool to the touch without needing refrigeration, freezing, or an electrical outlet, so it's ready to use as soon as a pet lies down. Its soft, flexible surface molds comfortably to different resting positions. Because the cooling effect comes from pressure rather than a power source, it starts working the moment a pet settles onto it and needs no setup beforehand.
It works well in a pet bed, on a car seat, or as an office or sofa cushion during hot weather, giving pets a cool spot no matter where they settle in. Supervise pets during initial use to make sure they're comfortable with the surface. On especially hot days, it can also be paired with a fan or shaded spot to give a pet a cooler place to rest indoors or out.
