Knee Compression Sleeve with Gel Pad

This sleeve brings together three things that are usually sold separately: graduated compression around the whole joint, a gel ring that seats around the kneecap to hold it centred, and flexible side stabilisers that resist sideways movement without preventing the knee from bending normally through its range.

The knit is shaped rather than simply tubular, which is why it stays put instead of gradually rolling down the calf over the course of a run. The gel pad cushions the front of the knee when kneeling, a detail that matters as much to a tiler as to an athlete. The side stays add lateral support for court sports where the knee is asked to change direction under load, and breathable yarn keeps the whole thing wearable across a full working day rather than an hour.

It suits running, basketball, weight training, hiking and trades involving kneeling. It is a supportive garment rather than a medical brace, and persistent knee pain, instability or swelling should be assessed by a qualified clinician. Wash it cold and air dry to protect the elastic and the gel ring, both of which degrade quickly under high heat.
